Made In Cookware - Carbon Steel Tawa

Our approach to traditional Indian cookware is the same ethos that guides our entire collection: bringing the best possible materials to classic cookware shapes. In this case, matching the Tawa with our French Carbon Steel was a no-brainer.

Commonly constructed from cast iron, stainless steel, or non stick, we were told during the design process that dosas just tasted better when made on Carbon Steel—so we fully committed. At half the weight of cast iron but every bit as durable, the Tawa seasons quickly and is incredibly responsive to heat so you can exert maximum control while cooking.
